Placing Talent’s client, a leading provider of clinical coding services, seek an Accredited Clinical Coder to join their team in the capacity of Clinical Coding Consultant on a full-time basis.
This role consists of a blend of on-site work across private hospitals and clinical coding delivered from home.
You’ll need to be an accredited clinical coder (ACC) with knowledge of how to code complex episodes, as well as the motivation and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines. This is a home-based role where you’ll carry out some clinical coding projects remotely, with travel involved to client hospitals. This is a great opportunity to grow your experience by working for different specialist providers, while helping our clients make smart decisions that will keep healthcare services running smoothly.
Summary
Contract: Permanent.
Working Hours: Full-time. 37.5 hours per week.
Typical Working Pattern: 1 - 3 days per week coding on-site. Remaining days you will be coding from home.
Specialities: Areas of focus but not limited to; Trauma & Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Pain Management, General Surgery, Vascular, Spinal (decompressions), and ENT.

Essential Criteria
- National Clinical Coding Qualification.
- Up-to-date Clinical Coding Refresher Course attendance.
- Three years+ UK clinical coding experience within an acute NHS setting.
- Experience of coding complex surgical episodes.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with staff at all levels within the organisation.
