Placing Talent seek a clinical coder to join our client's clinical coding team on a contract basis in the capacity of Contract Clinical Coder.
The contract will be for an initial three months with a strong possibility of extension subject to performance.
This is a field-based role consisting of regular on-site work across our clients’ hospital in the Essex region, with the possibility of some remote coding from home. Our client offers a degree of flexibility, for example, you have the option to start at 06:00 and finish at 14:00 or alternatively start at 08:00 and finish at 16:00.
Contract: Weekdays or weekends.
Working Hours: Full-time or part-time available.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
IR35 Status: Inside-IR35 regulations.

Essential Criteria
National Clinical Coding Qualification preferable.
All applicants must complete a coding assessment to demonstrate suitability for the role.
Three years + UK clinical coding experience within an acute NHS setting.
Up-to-date Clinical Coding Standards Refresher Course.
Experience coding a range of surgical and medical specialties.
