Placing Talent's client, a leading provider of clinical coding services, seek an Accredited Clinical Coder to join their team in the capacity of Hybrid Contract Clinical Coder to work full-time.
This role consists of a blend of on-site work across private hospitals in the South-East region and some clinical coding delivered from home.

Summary
Contract: 12-month contract with strong possibility of extension.
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday.
Working Pattern: 2-3 days on-site & 2-3 days working from home per week.
Start Date: As soon as possible.
IR35 Status: Inside-IR35 regulations.
The successful applicant will be required to visit private hospital sites a minimum of two days per week and work from home the remainder managing the hospitals' coding activity, ensuring all coding is undertaken in a timely and accurate manner, meeting weekly and monthly coding deadlines whilst adhering to national and locally defined variations to coding standards.
You will be joining an experienced team of clinical coding professionals committed to delivering excellent data quality outcomes. Suitable candidates will have over three years UK coding experience, hold the National Clinical Coding Qualification, have exposure to a broad range of specialties including complex surgical cases and have a hardworking and flexible attitude towards professional tasks.
When working at the private hospital sites you will be the company’s primary contact and as such will be required to act as an ambassador for this leading provider of clinical coding services. Suitable applicants must have strong communication skills and a personable approach to building professional relationships.
Main Specialties
Trauma & Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, Pain, General Surgery, and a little ENT, Vascular, Spinal (decompressions).
Essential Criteria
National Clinical Coding Qualification.
Three years + UK clinical coding experience within an acute NHS setting.
Experience coding a range of surgical and medical specialties.
Experience of coding complex surgical coding episodes.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with staff at all levels within the organisation.
Up-to-date Clinical Coding Standards Refresher Course attendance.
