Placing Talent's client, a leading provider of clinical coding services, seek an Accredited Clinical Coder to join their team in the capacity of Hybrid Contract Clinical Coder to work full-time Monday - Friday.
This role consists of a blend of on-site work across a private hospital in the East Riding of Yorkshire region and some clinical coding delivered from home.
You’ll need to be an experienced and Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC), with knowledge of how to code complex episodes, as well as the motivation and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines. This is a home-based role where you’ll carry out some clinical coding projects remotely, with travel involved carrying out work for a private hospital. This is a great opportunity to grow your experience by working for different specialist providers, while helping our clients make smart decisions that will keep healthcare services running smoothly.
Summary
Working Hours: Full-time. 37.5 hours per week.
Pay Rates: £250 per day on-site, £200 per day remote or piece rate remote (option to be paid to Ltd Company).
Typical Working Pattern: 2/3 days on-site & 2/3 days remote per week (5 days total).
Expenses: Claim mileage for travel and parking expenses.

Essential Criteria
- National Clinical Coding Qualification.
- Three years + UK clinical coding experience within an acute NHS setting.
- Experience coding a range of surgical and medical specialties.
- Experience of coding complex surgical coding episodes.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with staff at all levels within the organisation.
- Up-to-date Clinical Coding Standards Refresher Course attendance.
